All surgical procedures can be safely performed under the comfort of outpatient intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. Dr. Jo is Board Certified by the National Board of Dental Anesthesiologists. A Board Certified Anesthesiologist is available for patients requiring General Anesthesia. Major cosmetic or reconstructive cases can be performed at our St. Joseph's outpatient surgery center, which significantly reduces costs for our patients.

At our facility, various levels of anesthesia can be administered to the patient depending on the clinical situation. While some patients may tolerate a simple surgical procedure under local anesthesia, others may require intravenous sedation or general anesthesia ("put to sleep"). Dr. Jo, along with others in his specialty, are experts in managing patient anxiety and administering all levels of outpatient sedation and anesthesia. Dr. Jo and his staff aim to keep our patients safe and comfortable at all times. With the comfort of intravenous sedation, our patients can safely undergo any procedure without the undue stress associated with surgery. Dr. Jo and his staff maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), also Dr. Jo maintains certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
